And Then They Were Fine

by bonbon794   Oct 12, 2005

(This is by me, Emma... and I made this in like 5 minutes... that's why it's so crap!)

He embraced her, and kissed her passionately,
Wishing he'd never enrolled, desperately.
She embraced him, fighting back her tears,
Wishing she was braver, had less fears.
But time grew weary, and he had to go,
On that long road, where he might never come home.
And as they seperated, they drifted apart,
An empty space was filled in their heart.
She waited, as he fought, and she prayed away,
That one day, he'd come back, and to stay.
But time grew weary, and her hope was lost,
Thinking of how her love came at such a cost.
For we never really know of our love, so deep,
'Til it's no longer there, something we cannot keep.
One gloomy morning, when the sun did not shine,
She put a bullet to her head, and then she was fine.
Then, the next morning, her lover returned,
Found his soul mate lying, sprawled on the ground.
That gloomy morning, when the sun did not shine,
He put a bullet to his head, and then he was fine.
