One Day at a Time

by Katie McCullick   Oct 13, 2005

The rain falls down in unison with my tears,
because I stop to think of my past years.
I wish I could change them but I can not,
but living for the future isn't as easy as I thought.
I know they all tell me to look ahead,
but I just want to do things before I'm dead.
I should live for right now and not a minute less,
im sure it would be better with a lot less stress.
Although you may say I'm taking the easy road,
but Its best for me or my soul will erode.
