My Angel

It was early in the year,
when this angel of mine did appear,
Not like on expects,
Nor that one detects.

In the form of a girl,
She stood out like a pearl,
we soon became quite close,
our relationship sweet like glucose.

Both in an army,
That isn't like the balmy,
Fighting for one cause,
In a war you can not pause.

Through the good times and the bad,
You cheered me up when i was sad,
You put a smile on my face,
Which you did with such grace.

Even when the sun's not shinning,
I'll see the silver lining,
Because together we will soar,
Run free like wild boar.

I sit for hour's reading words from the heart,
Why couldn't you be here from the start?
To be my shinning light,
And help win this fight.

My angel filled a void,
I was nearly destroyed,
But you came into my life,
And pulled me out or strife.

That night i nearly died,
To get to you i tried,
but try i need not,
you weren't leaving me to rot.

To my side you came rushing,
My tears they were gushing,
With your words you touched my heart,
never to depart,

Word's can't explain,
When you ease my pain,
The joy it bring's to me,
How happy i will be.

If there was a word to be,
to explain how much you mean to me,
I'd say it a trillion times,
Even then still worthless as a dime.

All treasures they can't buy,
And I'm not going to lie,
What god has given us,
he showed me on the bus.

So thanks for being there for me,
Best friends we'll always be,
