Black and Blue

by Jane   Oct 13, 2005

Everyday,
It's always the same,
Walking to school,
Hiding the pain.

Covering up,
Her legs and arms,
Never showing people,
All the harm.

It all started,
When her mum died,
Ever since then,
She's been living a lie.

Her friends wonder,
But don't ask,
Too afraid of what,
They might unmask.

Her father was distorted,
After losing his wife,
Nothing more to live for,
No point to life.

In the nights,
There's nothing she can do,
As he beats her,
Black and blue.

Light fill,
the silent street,
all waiting to know,
what he will meet.

As he is taken,
all look on,
all knowing,
what he did wrong.

Her life less body,
is taken away,
a young life taken,
at the end of the day.

Her life was taken,
no one could tell,
all the pain she felt,
her living in hell.
