Smoke (Lost In You)

by xXxDarkPrincessLozxXx   Oct 13, 2005

I'm sitting in a smoke filled room,
And I see your shadowy form,
I can also my heart on the ground,
It's bleeding, bruised and torn.

I inhale the smoke into my lung's,
And it somehow reminds me of you,
Of all the stupid thing's you say,
And all the thing's you do.

I rest my head in my hands,
And I softly begin to cry,
I think of how you hurt me,
And I can't help but wonder why?

I close my eye's and think,
That maybe its just a dream,
That the snide things that you say,
Aren't what they seem.

I wipe away my tears,
And wonder why you don't care,
I'm sitting here in front of you,
And I can even see you stare.

I look at you delicate face,
And look you right in the eye,
My heart begins to pound,
And once again I cry.

The smoke is getting heavy,
And I begin to cough and gasp,
I need your hand in mine right now,
To see if I can even last.

I crawl towards your figure,
Yet you don't seem to even care,
Why aren't you thinking of me?
Why weren't you even there?

I'm drowning in you now,
And I'm slowly beginning to choke,
I try to reach out and grab your hand,
But all I touch is smoke.
