Immortal pain

Overwhelmed by fear,
Falling over the edge,
Slipping into darkness,
Falling into death,
My life is fading,
This is my last breath,

My hate burning away,
The wick under a flame,
Disappearing into nothing,
Smothered by immortal pain,
Everlasting,
Never-ending,
Always the same.
