Two Years

In two years would life be?
Will the sun explode, will we see?
Life in two years will be different that it is today.
When it comes, do you think you will no what to say?

We will have a new president, one who is smart.
Not one who hides and eats sweet tarts.
Our new leader will be brave and loyal
and not afraid to step on enemy soil.

Maybe you will graduate or maybe you may not.
Maybe you will find your true love and tie the knot.
Somebody you know may die.
When it happens your sure to cry.

There might be a draft if the war gets any worse.
You will run away and say that this country is cursed.
Hiding in the shadows till the war is done.
Looking back and remembering what used to be fun.

There are many things you may never know about the future.
Some people try to predict using their home computer.
Thinking they can predict whats going to happen
but are scared to do so, so their napping.

What will happen in two years?
Will we still be here?
