Depiction Of Reality

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Oct 13, 2005

Red bleeds into the canvas' pale background.
Black stains the painting's melancholy.
The author's rage echoes on the vibrant canvas.
The author's sadness extorts onto his depiction.

His reality painted by colors, his self-portait.
Using his paintbrush as his release, scarred.
Unable to speak his painful truth, his silence.
Looking into the painting, his depiction of reality.

Wow its so funy how painters and poets relate they both use different mediums to hide and mask the struggles which they face, and in the end they both come up with a wonderfuly person creation with they can share or keep to themselves. I am very glad that you chose to share your with the rest of us.
