At the Alter of Hell I Surrender

by Autumn   Oct 13, 2005

Walking the path of death,
to the alter of eternal pain,
my soul eternally damned,
and the souls of corpses whisper.

To heavens rot I drink this cup,
of innocent virgin blood,
to the burning of the angels,
and to the burning of the world.

Stand by my side at the alter,
and bathe in the sins of men,
the black waters of death shall cleanse thee,
and make you my brother.

Walk the path of darkness,
unto shadows of eternal suffering,
thy blood is split in remembrance,
of he who has fallen form the sky,

The angel of darkness and eternal sin,
Satan oh lord of hell!
Cleanse my soul with with sin,
and take it as your slave.

Dark eyed and jeweled in sapphire,
thy bidding I shall obey,
to thee I give allegiance,
for thou art my shadow and pain.

The wh**es of earth they praise you,
the murderer in his killing you trust,
after the sins of humanity,
for the blood of queens you lust.

Freely before your feet I bow,
my lord of fire and burn,
I slit the throat of my mother.
For hatred of her love.

To hang upon the cypress tree,
the corpses of my brother and sisters,
and my fathers heart I feed to the dogs,
and whats left do I burn in glee.

I pray upon the alter,
the shrine of hells eternal burn,
to Satan my soul I give,
to shadows of death I turn.

A dark, compelling, exciting and definitely scary read. You amazed me with this poem. This comes from a mind with complicated and wonderful tales, be it dark or something light. Your third dark poems I've read and you make me feel addicted already. =) This is something different and uniquely presented. Thanks for sharing, I've enjoyed that.
