Never To Cry Again

by chrissi   Oct 13, 2005

Someone calls her name
And words are exchanged
Some that degrade
But most of vigorous hate

She screams it away
And runs for her room
No one really knows her
They all just assume.

Finally in her room
She furiously slammed the door
Then crawled into bed
And screamed a bit more

With her face on her pillow
And tears soaking her cheeks
She cried both inside and out
Itâ??s only a little love she seeks.

Lifting her head in horror
Her head moves about, eyes toward her desk
She sees the silver blade of the shining scissors
Then putting herself to the final test...

She winces in agony
In all wrist mind and heart
She doesnâ??t want to be alone
She refuses to fall apart.

She canâ??t carry the weight
She canâ??t take the pain
She canâ??t stand this life
That has slowly,
But surely, driven her insane.

So many times, she had broken down
And, even more that she would lie in pain.
Never knew how to tell someone
How she dremt and
Wished she\'d be okay.

Her tender heart
Shattered and shot
Needed something
That she, had not.
She needed love
She needed a friend
But she was alone,
And, had nothing left.

That broken heart
Needed time to mend
But not all the time
In this world alone
Could put her together again

So full of pain and
Enraged with anger
Without but one, last love send.
She put it all
The pain, the hurt
The loveless thoughts
To a quick and
Painless end.
Now, she would never cry again.
