24 Hours

by Katelyn   Oct 13, 2005

The sound is clouding out my thoughts
Getting rid of all my doubts
Just because my mind is somewhere else
Doesn't mean that I have lost myself

I can't get anything I want
You see that it's not my fault
Walk away from the dark
And choose your own path you mark

The rain has reminded me once again
How lonely I think I am
The wind picks up to make this end
Then I remember I have my friends

God has led me here today
And I am not afraid, I am here to stay
I am not alone right now
I am ready right now

Shine again and say my name
Let me know you are still the same
I'll find my own way home if I gotta
Dance along with my own sonata

Just twenty-four more hours
And the real me with show with such power
Knowing myself and being bold
Wait.
The rain has changed to snow because of the cold.
