The waiting bride.

by Sierra   Oct 14, 2005

Living in sorrow and through the pain
for her love had left her alone that day
Grasping onto the sorrows grave.
She holds her Vail waiting to be saved.
Listening to the wedding bells rings.
She wait at the alter as she sings.
Holding the roses and baby's breath
She was alone a until her death.

Holding a smile and a hopes up high
She wishes to be with her one true guy
she twirls and prances in her gown
for her husband had been drowned
On that fateful dreary wedding night
She had been be a bride so bright
Her hair was golden and eyes so blue
Her husband had been killed but no one knew.
He had been stealing and ran away
He didn't know he'd die that day.
He made a deal with mobsters and gangs.
As this went on his lovely bride sang.

Everyone waited and some had left.
The lovely bride waited but but still she wept.
Her husband was gone and she was to wait.
How would she know this was her fate?
As the guest left she waited hoped rise.
thinking he was going to give a surprise.
Years had past and seasons had changed.
She still was waiting at the wedding arranged.
His body was dumped and cut into bits.
He had been long await for the gangs hits.
Still the bride waited and time flew by.
She never left that alter waiting for her guy.
Her skin had aged, her hair hair looked to rust.
She waited so long, she turned into dust.

Her body had left but her spirit remained,
Thinking her love will come in some day.
His body had died and his soul wasn't well,
he would never show up, it was casted into hell.
Still the bride waits her spirit dances
Her husband is punished, no second chances.
She will wait for ever holding hopes up above her.
She will continue to wait, for her one true lover.
