It all started the day I got that voicemail
"Hey Kaitlynn this is Andy
I just wanted to let you know
I joined the Marines today
I go tomorrow for my physical
I love you and I'll talk to you later"
The tears gathered in my eyes
You have been my best friend for three years
I can't imagine my life without you.
The next day Kyle called
He had joined the Marines too
Kyle-my first boyfriend and my first love
I have never imagined my life without both of you
But come June, you will be leaving me.
