Missing You (Acrostic)

by Simon Hayes   Oct 14, 2005

Many times I think of you
I sit and ponder carelessly
Shifting memories back and forth
Slowly lifting all the pain
I grieved for you
Never be able to see you again
Goodbye my friend, a gracious man

You'll wait for me I'm sure you will
Opening those gates when it's my time
Uniform smile still uplifting my soul

This was a very good write Simon, it flowed so well it never seemed like an Acrostic. A wonderful write for your uncle.
