Nature's battle: The Wind's call

by Ana   Oct 14, 2005

As the wind whispers a soft hiss
listen carefully, listen to this.
It spoke to me, like drops of water.
Cold words that really matter.
Words that people refuse to hear,
it speaks softly at first, "Listen dear"
a voice with a feeling of concern,
as it tells me, "Soon the tables will turn."
I listen attentively, afraid
as it says, "There's a price to be paid,
humanity living freely while lands have been bought,
we rot in silence where wars have been fought.
But the silence ends now, we won't take anymore
as humanity throws our gifts out the door.
We have given everything, more you have taken.
If you thought we'd do nothing, you're sadly mistaken.
The tables will turn
you won't have a world to abuse
and we won't heal the bruise.
You've dug your own grave
and you will not be saved.
I warn you this now,
take heed my child
for nature's wrath is safe from no one,
but the elements favor you.
Do what you will from this I have said,
do what you can before the world is dead."
Tears are in my eyes,
because I don't want to die,
but I want to kill,
those who went against the wind's will.
So take heed stranger,
your life may be in danger
for I am the weapon nature will use.
I am the one who'll end the abuse.
