The oceans are dry
Gray is the sky
Dead are the trees
and we let it be.
We don't take care of the planet,
we don't even try.
There will come a day,
it'll be our turn to cry.
Where has our mind gone?
On things that can't be done.
But what about the things we can do?
We push them away, don't believe it's true.
We think the world will give us everything
and we won't work for anything.
We sit and watch nature die,
but as long as it's not us, we do not cry.
We do not care if the world stops spinning,
as long as we keep winning,
silly things like the lottery.
Where has our mind gone?
Why do we keep doing wrong?
When shall we take the veil from our eyes?
And forget our pride?
Will we ever?
or will it be never?
Think about it before it's too late.
Will you be responsible for sealing our fate?
Find your mind now
before the world goes down.
For the world is our home,
and we are the keepers.
