Love?

by Vic   Oct 14, 2005

The very thought of being with you
Is a confusing thing indeed.
Can I trust you to be with me
In my direst time in need?
Or will you look away,
Deceive my love, and leave?
I imagine the greatest joys,
Yet there's a sense of doubt.
Everyday we'll have the greatest fun
And every night we'll go out.
But maybe you wouldn't love me
And deny me in front of a crowd.
A mix of emotions run through my mind
And I can't help but think.
When we're older and still together
Would you say the same things?
Or would we never speak again,
With my heart feeling painful stings?
Sometimes I wonder to myself
If you're worth the trouble.
Will we be happy together
And will you love to cuddle?
Or will you make me regret my choice
And dig my grave with my own shovel?
I think I am truly in love,
But then again maybe not.
You seem to me to be so bright,
You must be from above.
Then again, when I look at you,
My heart just wants to rot...
