Behind These Eyes

Behind these eyes are so many balled up emotions. Emotions that I've lost control over. I was once happy. Then you brought me down; so far down that I can't get up.

Behind these eyes lay tears ready to fall to the floor. The more time that goes by the more that my tears come flowing over me like a flood from a hurricane.

Behind these eyes isn't that pretty little face that holds a smile. No, no. behind these eyes is a girls trapt within herself fighting for a way out.

Behind these pretty brown eyes lay sadness, depression, anxiety and anger built up over time.

Behind these eyes is a totally differnent person than your eyes may lead you to see. Behind these eyes isn't me.
