Let Go

by SPC Ecklund   Oct 15, 2005

Let go of me
let go of my past
let go of my life

I watch as the blood
drips and trickles
down my arm.

Wanting to let go of life, I
hold onto my razor blade
pressing it against my skin.

My precious little cuts
drip and bleed until
I feel no pain.

Let go of anger
let go of pain
let go of myself

I watch each day how
my life is slowly changing
in front of my eyes.

My parents have lost sight
of me. My dad can't
stand the sight of me.

Let go of you
let go of me
let go of my life

Just let me be; it's bad
enough you don't talk
to me, so let me go.

No longer am I happy,
no longer am i innocent,
no longer am I yours.

Let go of this
let go of you
let go of life
