Drowning

They don't understand
they don't even try
they think they're so smart
but they don't even know why
why we're under attack
why we risk our lives
why we all fight
why we stab others with knives
they aren't so invincible
they could easily be beat
they're acting so stupid
as America admits defeat
they don't even care
what goes on around
they don't even see
all the fallen grounds
so everyday I think
I try to make an exception
but I know that I can't
drowning in my depression
