I'm on the verge

So now you tell me it's OK
But for you that is so easy to say
I've been there for you all my life and what do i get as repay?
You getting ready to go a different way...

You changed so much over these years
You heard my cries but caused my tears
This relationship is more foggy than it appears
Will we be around when it clears?

I stop my world just to help you
To make you happy: i do everything that i can do
And you can't say that it isn't true
Because you're my best friend, i thought you knew

You always say that you won't leave a friend
But i guess your words were all pretend
Because I'm left alone on the roadside bend
For our book of life...i guess it's the end

I guess this friendship flame has blown out
You probably outed it, i wouldn't have a doubt
But you know what being a friend is all about
But why did you leave? Do i have to shout?

You're still here but it's not at all the same
Maybe again I'm the one to blame
Through our past, so much happiness came
But in a few years, you won't even know my name

So you can stand there as i pass-by
Just don't sit there and tell me not to cry
Because you are putting me down and won't try
And I'm on the verge of saying good-bye

I like it a lot. It's a great poem and has a good flow. But what I like the most is that fact that you care its just that can't do it on your own...really cool, I like it 5/5 Nice job. Take care.
