In the foest I shall wait

by Legionarius   Oct 15, 2005

In the forest who is seeking me?

When the angels come I shall defy them

Never again for many a year will I trust one again

There are some who are kind, beautiful in every way.
But there are some who but hide the cloak of beauty.
They are but a shadow of the reality.
Behind the cloak they are but a child.

Their mind still needs to grow, it is great in intellect, but weak in love.
They do not know what it truly means to a man who loves them with all their mind. They know not what it means to a man who believes that she is the most beautiful thing in the world.
They think they know but they do not.

In the wilderness I was found by one
It guided me into paradise
It made me the happiest and the saddest I had been in my life.
I made it a gift, I worked hard in my labor, I put all of my love into it.

Then the angel left me, abandoned me, and threw me back into the wilderness.

Now I travel alone but sure of one thing.

In the forest I shall defy them, I shall defy them until they have grown enough for me to love and be loved.
In the forest I shall wait, I shall wait, I shall wait to be loved

In the forest I shall defy and yet love them
