He tore her dreams to pieces
And he didnt even care
She tried so hard to impress him
But confront him she did not dare

She cries herself to sleep
With her tears of gray
She does this every nite
And keeps living her life this way

And one day she sees him sitting
At a table all alone
And could tell he had been crying
By his voices tone

She asks him whats wrong
And all he could say
Was that he was sorry for everything
And wanted her to stay
