Why can't I forget you?
Maybe because you made a lasting impression
An impression so deep within, it may stay with me forever

Why can't I forget you?
I ask myself everyday
I see you in the hallway and you can't even look at my face

Why can't I forget you?
This is really absurd
I'm angry at you because you stopped talking to me and yet I still feel a change of heart

Why can't I forget you
I can't get you off my mind
I keep thinking about all the good times that we had which makes me laugh from time to time

Why can't I forget you?
Yes this must be the reason why
You made me feel like the greatest person in the world
You made feel so alive
You made me forget everything that made me sad
You made me feel so very glad
I never had a friend who was so very true
This is why I can't forget you
