My enemy

by SammiBABY   Oct 16, 2005

Just when I thought I was free and the monster was dead,
I can sense its presence,
It is under my bed.

Just when I thought my dues had been paid,
Its fantasy is real, I feel so afraid.

It waited until my defenses were down to attack,
Saying "I won't hurt you if you take me back"

And I was vulnerable and for protection I lust,
And it said mark your wrists to show me your trust.

And I cut my arms up in fear that it would get mad,
I used my fingers because that's all I had.

The monster nodded and took me away,
To the darkness inside and forever I'll stay.

The slit down my wrist shows what I've done,
I fall to my enemy and my enemy has won.
