Her Savior

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Oct 16, 2005

Looking into the mirror, she stares back at me.
Her green eyes shine, joy reflects in the glass.
Her smile so bright, happiness escapes from her.

It's hard to imagine that not so long ago,
Her eyes showed the emptiness that she felt.
Her lips faked the smile that fooled everyone.

It's hard to remember the last time
She felt this alive, no longer escaping the pain.
Not even when she ran did she feel this relief.

Looking into the mirror, happy thanks to you.
Her smile illuminates the room, her savior.
Her eyes shines bright for you, passion.

*not my best, I know...
