Skin Deep

by SPC Ecklund   Oct 16, 2005

Some Where down the line a
life went wrong. A childhood so
distraught; a person so depressed.

One cut won't hurt any one but
me. One cut will take away
my pain. No one will know.

Pain is more than just skin deep.
Illiterally one, two, even three
more cuts are made to relieve pain.

Lost in our own worlds, we
do self-destructive things all to
relieve pain and forget the past.

Sitting and thinking springs tears
to our eyes. The thought of our life
and our past is horrifying.

Some where down the line a life was lost; a soul was trapt and
a person was committed.

Skin deep isn't exactly where the
pain lies. Skin deep is where
we relieve the pain of all.

***this poems is for those people that don't understand why people cut and to also maybe help people to over come it like i did and find happiness***
