Winter (Rictameter)

by HansRik   Oct 16, 2005

Winter
Colourless skies
The harshest soul-less wind
resulting in shivering deaths
of the innocent joy of life, anon!
Striking with its powerful song,
annihilating Time,
consuming life...
Winter.

This is a truely captivating piece. I could feel every word, so much I began to shiver inside. You have incredible talent.
    The harshest soul-less wind
What amazes me is that you combine things that otherwise would be considered irrelivent to each other, like soul and wind. You depict it as it is, soul-less, but in tern give the wind life. I don't know if you understand what I mean, but that's how I see it. 5/5. I look forward to your next poem.
