The Moonlight Kiss

by Dave Allmon   Oct 16, 2005

What is this
Is it a flower with no color
Has it been an hour
What is this

Its nothing you cant handle
Did I ever really matter
Even if I blew out the candle
It don't have to shatter our dreams

How did this get so messed up I don't no
But I would like to find out soon
So it could be me and you
Once again, under the moon

It was the only light to shine your face
The first kiss was the best of all
I miss the time you told me not to fall
But you tripped and fell, remember what we saw

What is this
Is it a dead flower with color
Has it been a hour
What is this

Things got so good, then got to bad
I cant let go, no not now, not ever
I can remember the time I cried
You held me and said sorry I lied

Forgiveness is more than I asked for
I thought this would be like before
Remember when, when we stuck out my back door
Remember when, I had all the answers
Remember when, we would share our sorrow
Remember when, we knew what this is

Am I really in love, or am I just stuck in the past
Stare in the sky, to look up and no this will last
Not a care in the world, not a fear of no one
You were the first girl, I shed a tear in front of

I learned from you, and you learned from me
Always showing our love, always agree
What went wrong, what did I miss
Its been so long, since we kissed
Now I remember, the times I'll miss

What is this
And how is it still here
Has it been thrown away
What is this
I don't no, but I'll miss the good days

What is this
And how is it still here
Has it been aside
What is this
I don't care, but I'll miss the great times

What is this
Is it a flower with no color
Has it been an hour, I don't no
What is this

What is this
Is it a dead flower with color
Has it been a hour, I don't care
What is this
