You've Been There

by Lisa   Dec 5, 2003

Ever since we were young, You've been there.

The day passed slow and the naps were so long.

Childhood is over, but my timeouts were never alone.

Ever since we were young, You've been there.

School was hard and recess was fun.

Playtime is over but the games were never lonely.

Ever since we were young, You've been there.

The fights were so dumb and the arguments were not fair.

Innocence is over, but the guilt was never put on one.

Ever since we were young, You've been there.

Our relationship is strong and there is no other like ours.

Friendship isn't over, and I want you to know...

Until our days end, I will be there.

I love you berta-you're the greatest person in my life, my cousin, my best friend.
