Black

by LindsayFound   Oct 17, 2005

Black isn't the color of death
It's the true color of life
It represents pain, misery,
Heartaches, and strife

Black shows the past
Which we all but forget
We do try to find happiness
But we just haven't met

Black shows the truth
Looks into your eyes
It sees the truth scream out
But must hide behind lies

Black gives us light
To see the real world
To see no one wants us here
Because we don't fit into the mold

Black is the reality
That no one wants to see
I know this because
Black also represents me
