Leave me empty

We have been friends for years
and for that I am glad
but yet there is something wrong
why is it I'm always so sad?

I'm trying to look back
And find out what went so wrong
Why though I still like to be with you
it has made me sad for so long

I look at our time in high school
When we used to hang out at the shop
You never had any money
So I lent you some. That still hasn't stoped

And then later on in life
For advice you came to me
And I gave all that I could
So once again happy you would be

But when I was sad and upset
You never came to me
So I learnt to comfort my self
To consol my own misery

And that may be what's wrong
As I look back on our history
Throughout our time together
You've done nothing but take from me

You take and you take
Until there is no more
But yet you give nothing
To fill me and my empty core
