I Still Love You

by ThugPoet   Oct 17, 2005

ACROSTIC POEM. Where the first letter of every line spells out a message.

Intoxicated with grief
Stripped of direction and purpose
Time will never heal these fatal wounds
In Your eyes lie the key and the cure
Loathing myself for hurting You
Lying to myself, slowly dieing
On a cold calm fall night
Viscous thoughts
Enter and invade my mind
Yesterdays are never as bad as todays
Only You can save me, don't wait
Until I'm gone and its too late

Why do I say this my Love?
Because "I Still Love You."

Your writing is haunting and brilliant. You have real talent my friend. Hang in there. I know it sounds cliche, but it will get better. When it is right for both parties, it feels like nothing else can. If only that feeling could be sold over the counter....
