See these Scars

by Lithium   Oct 17, 2005

See these scars the ones you caused,
See how they hurt each one more and more,
Because of how I think feel and see life,
Each moment one filled with much strife,

Every day the sun breaks light,
Every day a chance to see night,
Hour by hour sadness creeps upon me,
Never ending tears can't you see?

The pain you cause me and many others,
Is enough to break a loving mother,
You don't understand what I do is love,
Answers lying in heaven high above,

Will you ever stop causing never-ending pain,
Do you find joy out of others loosing gain,
Does your smile grow wide while ours frowns,
Does your mind have happy thoughts from ours so down,

Getting blamed for each moment unclear,
Reading writing of what I've always feared,
Cuts upon wrists days of dying,
Why live when nothings worth trying,

We live in a world of broken homes and lies,
Not one face you see could ever disguise,
The hurt the pain one goes through each day,
Why we all end up feeling this way,

All our hearts tell a story or two,
About love and lust emotions very true,
Follow these stories closely and find,
What is beneath these teenagers destructive minds,

As rates are rising for adolescent depression,
Help us switch to a happy obsession,
End these days filled with no hope,
And turn it into a way to cope,

All this started from joy that does not exist,
See these scars upon our wrists.

[This poem is a mixture of things that have happened in the past all kind off moulded into one poem. I hope you like it. xox rc.]
