As Human Beings (As Monsters)

As human beings we are forced to hide,
The raw, ugly feelings that we feel inside,
As human beings we must pretend,
That we are, are own bestfriends.

As human beings we have to lie,
That were okay, and we don't cry,
As human beings we must live,
In a world we can't forgive.

As human beings we cannot be wrong,
We cannot sing our own unique song.
As human beings we have to stand tall,
Not being afraid of anything at all.

As human beings we must live life,
Forgetting about the people who live in strife,
We must be stubborn, not change our view,
And not think about the hurtful things we do.

As monsters we must live on,
As our good memories pass us on,
As monsters we cannot see,
That this isn't the way were supossed to be.
