Learning to breathe

I thought i'd never lose you
i thought you'd always be mine
but i guess i was being foolish
or maybe i was blind

how could i have known
that perfection wouldn't last
how could i have known
you'd turn on me so fast

for a while i went crazy
for a while i went mad
before losing you, i never knew
that i could be that sad

but now i'm getting better
i'm making it on my own
i'm starting to get strong again
a strength i've never known

i've no regrets, i don't look back
cause it makes anger seeth
i'll learn to live without you
just like i'm learning to breathe
