A story about the usa

by Kristof   Oct 17, 2005

I'll tell you a story about the war in vietnam.
everybody recruted by the wicked uncle sam.
mothers: your sons will be fine; how deceiving.
their mothers knew better, in advance they started grieving.

the army turned people into bloodthirsty animals.
ready to kill everybody in their way.
family's already organising their funerals.
soldiers loading their guns, let's spray and pray.

so on they went to the battlefield
some of them died, others healed.
but they'll always carry their scars.
some took prisoners, putted them behind bars.

they tortured them day and night.
poured gasoline over them and ignite.
seeing them burn is none of their concern.
when it's over we putted their ashes in an urn.

this is what we mean when we get a medal of honor.
taking an urn home from a goner.
we still pledge allegiance to the flag.
living in a country where we get to brag.

about our committed murders.
in a constructed society, we are the girders.
land of the free, home of the brave.
isn't this america, land of the enslave?
