Cutting memory

by Emma   Oct 18, 2005

She couldnt sleep sometimes
again and then again
try to bleed away
vision to clot with blood
to block a hard day
in vain

flaking scab. exposed
the stabbing of his lusting eyes
cutting sliver in memory
only pain to block pain
deep scars to tell a simple story
in vain

she couldnt wake sometimes
again and then again
serrated blade st in skin
pulled across away
to leave the withing--
no more pain

no more pain
