FOREVER AND A DAY

You did more then break my heart,
You destroyed everything that was me.
You and I saw the beauty together,
But now I don't even know how to see.
You took the tears behind my eyes,
And make them build into a flood,
You ripped away all my good,
And made me cry not only tears but blood.
You broke that final promise,
You told me it was me that you did hate,
You let me believe we could have a chance,
But I guess that just wasn't our fate.
You believed all the rumours,
And forgot who I really am,
You act so childish to make me hate you,
Instead you should just grow up and be a man.
You used to kiss me gently,
Hold me and never want to let go,
You used to tell me everything,
Now you never let anything but hate show.
You and I were so happy,
Content in each others arms,
But now all you do is resent me,
Your only need is to do me harm.
You took away my shining light,
And now I'm dying in the dark,
You used to fill me with such electricity,
Now all is left is a fading spark.
Warm, content and beautiful,
Is how you used to make me feel,
Now I cling to my memories,
Doubting whether they were real.
Even though you hate me,
Even though you refuse to be nice and stay,
I want you to know I'll always love you,
