Just for Dad

My father means a lot to me,
he's helped me with so much.
He wears a gold ring that has the families
crest engraved in it, with just the right touch.

I know my father is getting older,
but stays young at heart.
Yet, lately I've noticed things
that I hadn't from the start.

I've noticed all the pills he takes,
however I have no clue what for.
The little things seem to irritate him
all more and more.

I wanted to do something for him so that
he knows how much he means to me,
for our family name dies with
me and my sibling.

So, just for dad, I've had the families
crest tattooed on me.
I know that he likes it, I hope he sees that
I love him as much as he loves me.
