Wishing...

by Heidi   Oct 19, 2005

Sitting in my room,
Wishing you were here.
Tears rolling down my cheeks,
Wishing you were near.

Walking down the street,
Hiding in my shadows.
Tears rolling down my cheeks,
Wishing you were close.

Suddenly standing in front of you,
Yours fingers embraced in mine.
Looking into your dark brown eyes,
Butterflies overtook my insides.

Laughing so hard we cried,
Jumping in piles of leaves,
Slightly kissing each other,
Under the big Oak trees.

Suddenly a jerk of awakeness,
So real it had seemed.
Waking up with tears on my face,
realizing it was only a dream.
