Some people are wrong

You tell me to be unique
You encourage self expression
But you frown on certain feelings
And you laugh at my depression

You tell me that its okay
That I don't have to lie
But when I say I'm hurting
You just roll your eyes

You tell me that if I tell you
No one else will know
But somehow they find out
And my distrust for you just grows

You make it seems so silly
When I hate who I've become
You make it seem like nothing

I went and talked to someone else
And they told me the truth
