The Day

by Bill Turner   Oct 19, 2005

Comfortably numb
Washing it all away
I feel so dumb
Oh what a day

You could hear it in my voice
Knowing it was a day from hell
You made the choice
Casting your love spell

You made the call
Washing away my trouble
I feel so small
Letting the day become rubble

When you asked why
I asked about your day
You let my evasion fly
Telling me you love me, in every way

Just what I needed to hear
Your love releasing my strife
Wanting you here
Loving you always, my future wife

    This poems really good
there are parts that are excellent
and others it seemed that you forced
    the words into the poem
    but overall its really good.
