and i believed what you said
i thought about it a lot
and it got to my head

she was sitting on your lap

to try and apologize
i didn't believe you

and pulled out a gun

and all it took was one

the bullet went through your heart
as i started to cry
i told you i always loved you too
and i watched you die

a month later she came to me,
she told me that you and her were done,
that she still liked you,
but you said you already had your one

i keep thinking that if i had just listened to you
then i wouldn't be in this state
we might be happy together
but now it's too late
