Is she right?

My mum told me many things,
each of them appreciated.
As shes the inspiration,
for this poem I've created.

She told me that falling in love,
had nothing to do with gravitation.
But was something unexplainable,
and the greatest of sensations.

She told me that love wasn't blind,
it sees more not less.
So because it has this option,
it chooses not to stress.

She told me to hold on to dreams,
because if dreams die..
life is a broken winged bird,
that cannot fly.

She told me that when i find someone,
i shouldn't wish to gaze into their eyes.
but look outwardly in the same direction,
But this is just advise.

Maybe i should trust my mum,
but then again, maybe not.
My dads a filthy liar,
in case she forgot.
