about depression
I walk through the shadow of death for I see no fear and the light of life is not visible so therefore the path is unknown & maps are invisible so therefore there is no guide toward this destination. The dark is a scary and unholy place to be.So the light is the exact opposite,so then the darkness than engulfs those who elects the darkness 2 be an psychopathic sanctuary which happens to be the comfort zone of many who rejects the light. Wrists slid and veins ripped apart cause suicidal visions were to strong to overcome. The masses confides to the suicidal images they attain 2 be an momentary instant in which happiness is achieved and relief is the bargaining agreement to the heart and the brain accepts this method as being something logical cause the membrane is eclipsed by false truths and all attempts of recovery becomes futile. It becomes selectively permeable toward the thoughts of a brighter day 2 arise. Loosen the grip of the noose, may your body become numb so muscles will loosen & sharp objects will be allowed to be removed reluctantly from your hands. Walk with me and take a journey away from your tinted thoughts. Tippy toe in slow motion, one step at a time & become my guest in the light. Rotten memories and life's toughest obstacles may remain in your self conscious but you can evolve & fade into the light if your being will allow such an action to be apprehended. Please don't let the darkness get the last laugh, step into the light. |
I love your poems you have such a gift and passion for your poems. Keep writing I'll keep reading. |
Reminds me of a poem calld the valley of the shadow of death. gr8 messge and true that light will always expell the darkness n reveal what is hidden. look how much a candle stands out in a dark room...notice how wen we are stranded ina tunnel we follow the light...it will always be there and we will always follow searching for it....i think u expressed this concept brilliantly 10/10 :-) |
