That Night

Lying in my bed; your lingering on my mind,
Memories of that night are all I can find,
Every thought is of you, all others are diminished,
I dont want to believe it over, it cant be finished.

Neither of us expected what the night had planned,
I never knew you were to soon hold my hand,
Who would have guessed you would touch my thigh,
Cannot fathom that it stayed till the sun rose high.

I knew you like the chase in getting who you desire,
So I only lit a flame, you can light the fire.
I didnt even kiss you, not even a peck,
My lips remained a secret even to your neck.

You were meant to like another girl,
So maybe you just wanted to give me a whirl,
It hurts that she is the one your thinking about,
Perhaps that night has changed your mind; posed a doubt.

The next day you left and my heart felt incomplete,
Hopefully that night made your heart skip a beat,
But my head is full of doubts and fears,
That you will still want her and wont see my tears.

Other guys have come and gone, some even touched my heart,
But you so easily filled it and every other part,
I know its wrong to fall so quickly in just a few hours,
But please think about me so we can make a love thats ours.
