Your Voice Calling

by Katt   Oct 21, 2005

I hear your voice still calling
Telling me the rumors are untrue
Saying that I am your true calling
But what is the truth?

The deception that you sold,
I was never told
Of the many other girlfriends
Of the lies you told them too

The many lies you told
Left you out in the cold
But it left me out in the cold too.
Don't feel sad or alone
I'm sure you wish you could change
But it all remains the same
You broke my heart
So I'll break yours too

Though I hear your voice still calling
I'm going to pretend you aren't there
I don't care if you want me or think I'm the one
You're messed up

So long
I hope to never to see your face shinning there
Like the day we first met
I'll always regret
and pretend to forget
The way you made my heart soar

So please stop calling
Because I'm not going to answer anymore.
