Nature's Skeleton

by Joey Matthews   Oct 22, 2005

Looking out my window
Imagining
Where I could be
I picture a forest
With a tall old oak tree
Green grass and nature
On a clear lovely day
The sun's warmth
Around my presents
Making life feel okay

Walking through the clearing
Into open space
I gaze beyond a meadow
Seeing a different way of life
I realize
The peace and wonders
Nature’s skeleton shows
If we only noticed
Instead of taking it for granted
Just maybe
The world would be a safer place

Hmm...you know...I don't really understand poems about nature...I have to read this three times to totally understand it...it's not that you are not good...it's me that is too dumb...lol...very nice...it rhymes very well...and you can actually sing it...do you know that? I really like it...
