These Chains

I wanna break-free
Won't somebody please help me
Break-free from these chains
that hold me down
so far that I can barely breathe.

I'm so tired of this restraint
because its blinding my vision
and I can't see anything before me

Please release me from these chains
that are starving me of my life
that are bringing me
deeper into the ground
So I can't be found

I cry as I plead for the freedom
that I dream of
As I stare at the world
through these cold bars
That are leaving these mental scars!
